Dh100 Million Jackpot Winner in UAE

Anilkumar Bolla wins the biggest lottery prize

Anilkumar Bolla, an IT professional in Abu Dhabi, has been the only player to have claimed the life-changing prize in the one-year history of the UAE Lottery.

Dh100 Million Jackpot Winner in UAE

The UAE Lottery has announced its first Dh100 million jackpot winner. Anilkumar Bolla, a 29-year-old Indian expat, now remains the sole winner of the Dh100 million jackpot in the UAE Lottery as the grand prize for the historic jackpot. Hailing from Telangana, he hit the jackpot in the 23rd Lucky Day Draw by matching all seven numbers and beating odds of one in more than 8.8 million.

12 tickets

He bought 12 tickets for the draw on 18 October, sticking to his usual pattern of Easy Pick and choosing the month of his mother’s birthday for the month’s set. Since his mother’s birthday is in November, picking the number 11 has turned out to be a fantastic birthday gift for her.

Despite his careful financial plans, he also revealed personal indulgences. He intends to buy a sports car and celebrate with a luxury holiday, saying, “I have a dream to buy a supercar and, for sure, I want to fulfil my dream first, purchasing a property. I also want to celebrate this moment in a great resort or 7-star hotel and just enjoy this vibe for some time. Then I need to start planning this investment”

7 Lucky Winners

Seven lucky UAE residents each won Dh100,000 guaranteed prize through the Lucky Chance raffle. However, no player won the same amount given as third prize for those matching the winning numbers for five days and the month.

A total of 13,994 players won in the 26th draw but missed the top three positions by just a couple of digits. A total of 97 players won Dh1,000 by matching either five days or four days plus the month.

Lucky Day format

The draw, held on November 29 at 8:30pm, marked the last opportunity to compete for the country’s biggest-ever grand prize before the lottery transitions to a new Lucky Day format with weekly draws and refreshed prize structures. Tickets for the final draw can be purchased online at the official UAE Lottery website.

How does it work?

The UAE Lottery is the country’s first authorised national lottery, holding its inaugural draw on December 14 last year with a Dh100 million prize. Tickets are priced at Dh50 and are available on the UAE Lottery website. Each draw is broadcast live on the operator’s YouTube channel.

The Lucky Day format follows a calendar-style system. Players select six numbers from 31 in the “Day” section and one number from 12 in the “Month” section of the online draw card. Participants must register on the official website to play.

New Regulations

Independent lottery operators were directed to pause their activities in January last year, with the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority GCGRA awarding a licence for the national lottery in July to Game LLC under the banner of the UAE Lottery.
